Hybrid Drain is a drainage channel which is a combination of slot drains, box drains integrated into a single Trench Drain system.

 

Such a system requirement arises either when the channel passes underneath a Non-Structural Wall or when the entire length of the channel passes through a series of floor spaces that are individually subjected to different loading conditions such as pedestrian access and vehicular access areas. It is also used when there is different water use intensity levels among spaces within the same facility.
